OUR BOAT

Badfish is a 40’ Ocean Super Sport Yacht with a 14’ beam and tournament-sized cockpit offering a stable fishing platform for several fishermen.  Powered by twin Caterpillar diesels rated at 420 horsepower each and a cruising speed of 24 knots, you are sure to get to the fishing grounds quickly.

If it gets a tad hot, bumpy or a rain shower is encountered, just slip inside to the air conditioned salon where comfortable seating is available for your use. When nature calls or one needs to freshen up, the head is nothing short of a bathroom complete with marine toilet, shower and sink with hot and cold fresh water.  For those who want a view and conversation with the Captain while traveling, check out the flybridge. Seating for several persons is provided In front of the helm as well as port and starboard sides.

Badfish is fully equipped for serious offshore fishing. The latest Furuno electronics include networked GPS, sonar and radar.  The cockpit is fitted with a Pompanette 130 lb fighting chair or a pedestal mounted rocket launcher set to accommodate anglers for the seasonal species sought after. A huge in-deck fish box will keep the catch fresh while refrigerated bait freezer and bait well makes it all happen.

We feature the very best in offshore tackle from light Penn Battle spinning reels to Penn International 30s and 50s to a couple of 130 class bad boys all spooled with top brand mono and/or braid. Rupp triple riggers and center rigger offer the advantage of providing a tremendous display of baits in a spread.
